M. Natoli Workplace Planning Design (MNWPD) is a majority woman-owned consulting firm providing solutions in Facilities Project Management, Site Selection/Evaluation, Construction/Improvement and Workspace Planning and Design. Founded in 2003, the company is currently located in Herndon, VA.

MNWPD's cross-industry experience allows us to offer seamless integration of site selection, workplace design, corporate relocation, and cost effective implementation tailored to the particular need of each client and project. Working with your organization, MNWPD can provide full turnkey management and coordination of the project or assistance with specific elements. Whether relocating, expanding, or consolidating offices, use of MNWPD as the dedicated point of contact (from overall strategy to hands on project management) will efficiently organize and manage the tasks necessary to ensure minimal downtime and improve the overall productivity of your work environment.

Principal Profile

Marilyn J. Natoli, founder of MNWPD, brings a background of diverse experience in Sales, Interior Design, Finance, and Science. She has 20 years of experience in Project Management and 17 years in Space Planning, Design, Facilities and Corporate Relocation Management. Marilyn has been responsible for overseeing all phases of infrastructure services from site selection through facilities planning to project conclusion.

Before relocating to the Northern Virginia/DC Metro area in late 2005, Marilyn was an active participant in the San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley facilities management and workspace design communities. From major Silicon Valley companies to non-profit foundations to hospitals and clinics, Marilyn has been responsible for all aspects of programming, planning, design and installation. In addition to this experience, Marilyn spent 4 years in corporate real estate management involving site searches, lease negotiations, tenant improvements, construction management, and restructuring and consolidation coordination for a portfolio of 30 plus US based offices.

The company most recently completed a relocation project for a major Silicon Valley information technology firm providing this client with full-service workspace development and project management from vision to delivery. This work included site search, needs assessment, adjacency studies, customer programming, cost estimations, budget and schedule tracking, workspace design, and move management, resulting in a customer-focused, cost-effective, functional and aesthetic use of space.

Marilyn holds an MBA in Finance, a BA in Biology, an AS in Interior Design and is an ASID Allied Member.
